THANKS TO EVERYONE!

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who helped yesterday in the C.C.Breckland 12 hour.
Apart from about an hour the weather behaved itself, for that one hour the heavens opened and I particularly thank those who braved all that rain to steer the marshals in the right direction and fill-in the check sheets.
The rides were truly EPIC, loads of huge mileages and two rides over 300 miles. Wilco’s ride (including a puncture at Hingham church on the last lap of the finishing circuit) of 317.9 miles (provisional) was something that will live in the memories of East Anglian cyclists for many years. On top of that it looks like a new Tricycle 12 hour Competition Record may have been set by Howard Waller but its close and mileages will have to be checked carefully.
Well done to the CCB trio of Chris, Mark and Roger for winning the team (provisional) – Fantastic.
Finally I couldn’t have done any of this without Team Saunders/Davis – Emily (+ boyfriend Harvey), Declan, Heather & Heidi were brilliant all day.
Will start working out final mileages tonight and post on website asap.
