Today 3 CCB rider competed in the VTTA National 25 on the E2/25. Conditions were somewhat tough! a stong westly headwind out to the turn kept speeds down, well for some anyway! then it was a tail wind trash (in some places) to the finish to try and recuperate the lost time.

Congratulation to Laura Gambling she is (provisionally) the Lady’s National VTTA champion! posting an actual time of 1.02.54 for 7th place on actual time giving her a plus time of 11.28 on vets. standard to take the lady’s title.

Chris Nudds finished with a time of 59.07 for 67th on actual time giving him a plus time of 11.32 on vets. standard and a placing of 39th on standard.

Mark Fairhead finished a bit further down wishing he weigh 3 stone less! when riding against the wind and along the draggy bits of the E2 course, in a time of 1.01.59 for 89th on actual time giving a plus time of 5.35 on vets. standard for a placing of 103rd! on standard.

The mens event was won in an outstanding time of 49.54 by 51 year old Kevin Tye of Datateam Allstars (Kent) taking 1st place on actual and 1st place on vets. standard with a plus of 18.13.
